Okay...so trip to Hong Kong, for us at least, has been postponed to December, when it's cooler. Pearl wouldn't let us three off at the same time. (Rachel wants to go too!) Reason being that we're moving to a new office around June.
The closest thing to a trip with all three of us is the TRIP TO VEGAS Spring Break weekend. Helen invited me and Rachel to Vegas with her and her friends. Now, I can actually stand and watch people play Black Jack without having some security escort me the arcade section. Woot woot! Can't wait!! :D
This weekend was NOT boring, as usual. ;D
Saturday, Debby took me to the Rosemead Swapmeet, so I can see what cheap stuff I can find. Wasn't really in the mood. Why? Because it was so warm, I was swelling up like a marshmellow roasting in the fire. There were, literally, no gaps between my fingers, they were so swollen. My feet were hurting like a mother when I walk cause they were swelled up too. Not fun. Another reason why I hate HOT WEATHER. Afterwards, was Amy's birthday party, HK style BBQ! Felt kinda like I was in HK cause everyone at the party was Chinese and was speaking that only. I roasted my specialty, hot dogs and marshmellows! Wei-Han said my hot dogs were the best. *beam* (but only because she was too lazy to roast her own hot dogs ;D)
Wei-Han, the ol' so "quiet" one, got soo drunk. She had 2 Smirnoffs. Drunk to the point where she said to me "Hollie! I want to see your mole!" and in front of everyone at the fire, she lifted up my shirt. Bad Wei-Han! Had to wait till late for her to sober up before bring her home. Her parents...strict...think of Mrs. Kim from Gilmore Girls.
Sunday. Today was CEFC's 40th Anniversary. Combined service in the sanctuary. Very cramped and very warm. (And the swelling begins again.) Afterwards, me and Helen drove out to Puente to catch the 1:20 showing of The Passion of the Christ. Brought back memories of Ben-Hur. This movie tugs at the heart and that's all I have to say about that.
Must go memorize my part for Dance 400. Painting rainbows , reaching for stairs, shuffles, twists, and claps and stuff like that. Our group is performing tomorrow.
