I absolutely HATE it when you're trying to tell someone something that is really important to you or happened to you and they don't listen. They're "looking" at you, but you can see it in their eyes that they're not really listening. They're just waiting for you to finish, so they can get to whatever it is they really want to do. Might as well just talk to a wall then. I just might get better feedback.
Whatever.
People have scars. In all sorts of unexpected places. Like secret roadmaps of their personal histories. Diagrams of all their old wounds. Most of our wounds heal, leaving nothing behind but a scar. But some of them don't. Some wounds we carry with us everywhere and though the cut's long gone, the pain still lingers. - Grey's Anatomy (Because I'm not eloquent enough to say something like that.)

The Vegas trip was this past weekend. I had lotsa fun. :D Too much to type.
The most interesting thing I saw there. The bar/club Coyote Ugly! It's exactly like the one in the movie. I was so excited! For a while, I thought it was where they filmed the movie. Turns out, the one in the movie was in NEw York. Oh boo.

Was at the San Gabriel SuperMarket with my mom buying beef jerky.
As we were walking towards the exit, we hear, "Hollie! Sonya!" and guess who it was.
I had no idea. It wasn't until my mom said, "Oh, Mrs. Wong! How are you!" It was Mrs. Wong. Our kindergarten teacher from Bella Vista. She recognized ME. From KINDERGARTEN. She asked me, "How are Shelby, Debby, and Alfred? Is Alfred still a skinny little boy?" That's one heck of a memory!!
It was really good seeing her. Brought back memories of singing the months of the years in Spanish.
These are the months of the year, oh, these are the months of the year...something something...Deciembreeeee!!!

Now imagine me....singing...with a microphone...add6 big speakers. Take that, multiply it by 50 and that's the kind of karaoke noise that Shelby and I have to endure from a karaoke party that is currently going on in my living room.
Oh where oh where is Helen, my getaway car. My ears. Oh my goodness. They just turned it up another notch.
O_O
Help. Me. Please.

Okay...so trip to Hong Kong, for us at least, has been postponed to December, when it's cooler. Pearl wouldn't let us three off at the same time. (Rachel wants to go too!) Reason being that we're moving to a new office around June.
The closest thing to a trip with all three of us is the TRIP TO VEGAS Spring Break weekend. Helen invited me and Rachel to Vegas with her and her friends. Now, I can actually stand and watch people play Black Jack without having some security escort me the arcade section. Woot woot! Can't wait!! :D
This weekend was NOT boring, as usual. ;D
Saturday, Debby took me to the Rosemead Swapmeet, so I can see what cheap stuff I can find. Wasn't really in the mood. Why? Because it was so warm, I was swelling up like a marshmellow roasting in the fire. There were, literally, no gaps between my fingers, they were so swollen. My feet were hurting like a mother when I walk cause they were swelled up too. Not fun. Another reason why I hate HOT WEATHER. Afterwards, was Amy's birthday party, HK style BBQ! Felt kinda like I was in HK cause everyone at the party was Chinese and was speaking that only. I roasted my specialty, hot dogs and marshmellows! Wei-Han said my hot dogs were the best. *beam* (but only because she was too lazy to roast her own hot dogs ;D)
Wei-Han, the ol' so "quiet" one, got soo drunk. She had 2 Smirnoffs. Drunk to the point where she said to me "Hollie! I want to see your mole!" and in front of everyone at the fire, she lifted up my shirt. Bad Wei-Han! Had to wait till late for her to sober up before bring her home. Her parents...strict...think of Mrs. Kim from Gilmore Girls.
Sunday. Today was CEFC's 40th Anniversary. Combined service in the sanctuary. Very cramped and very warm. (And the swelling begins again.) Afterwards, me and Helen drove out to Puente to catch the 1:20 showing of The Passion of the Christ. Brought back memories of Ben-Hur. This movie tugs at the heart and that's all I have to say about that.
Must go memorize my part for Dance 400. Painting rainbows , reaching for stairs, shuffles, twists, and claps and stuff like that. Our group is performing tomorrow.

Got an e-mail from Carol...
:D
Tech support...
I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Harold the
computer
guy, to come over. Harold clicked a couple of buttons and solved the
problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call. As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?"
He replied, "It was an ID ten T error"
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired:
"An, ID ten T error? What's that ... in case I need to fix it
again?"
The computer guy grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?"
"No," I replied.
"Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out."
So I wrote out ....... I D 1 0 T
I used to like Harold...

I found it funny.

I forgot. I really should write things down. Things would come up and I think "Must remember that. Put on blog." In the end, I just end up writing about how I ended up forgetting. Damn.
Things have been slooow like crazy. Guess this quarter's workload hasn't been that bad (*knock on wood*). "Hasn't been that bad" totals up to be "I bored like crazy!" I guess that's a good thing.
The cursor line thing has been blinking on and off and I've been sitting here staring at it cause I don't have anything to write about. (damn. I should have written it down.) Oh I remember! Hong KOng! Oh wait. That wasn't it. But anyways...
Amy has been telling me to go back with her. But I never realized just how much it costs to go back!!
AirPlane ticket: $700
Housing: $1000 [hotel]
Food:$150 [hong kong food! cheap! bonus point for that!]
Transportation:$50 [subway]
Shopping:$700 [i can get a crapload of crap with that amount!! :D]
Total: $2600
DB is still checking with the parents. Helen, well, we gotta see if Pearl will let us both off at the same time.
And I still need to pay for school. Damn again. :(
I need a sponsor. You be my sponsor? :D
