Love is...
when your boyfriend traps his fart in the closet, knowing you're going to walk in 2 minutes later.
People have scars. In all sorts of unexpected places. Like secret roadmaps of their personal histories. Diagrams of all their old wounds. Most of our wounds heal, leaving nothing behind but a scar. But some of them don't. Some wounds we carry with us everywhere and though the cut's long gone, the pain still lingers. - Grey's Anatomy (Because I'm not eloquent enough to say something like that.)

Someone wrote this on their blog...I couldn't have put it any better in my head.
My mom asked me why I'm writing these letters when I haven't seen/spoken to some of these individuals for years. I know it might be hard to understand but even though some of these people didn't make it to my future, they were critical to my life at some point. I have learned a great deal about being a friend and a loving human being from each of them and even though we may not be a part of each other's lives now, there's never a bad time to apologize or say "thank you."
That is something that I need to take care of. NOW.
Thank you to this person for writing that.
You know who you are. =)
