Just something I realized after a call from GK...
It's easy to have faith in God when things are well, but
hard to have it still when things go bad.
It's when you can continue having faith in Him when things turn sour, that you can say you trust him completely.
GK rocks. GK rules.
On a sidenote, I need to fix my comments. I screwed up somewhere. Obviously. =)
People have scars. In all sorts of unexpected places. Like secret roadmaps of their personal histories. Diagrams of all their old wounds. Most of our wounds heal, leaving nothing behind but a scar. But some of them don't. Some wounds we carry with us everywhere and though the cut's long gone, the pain still lingers. - Grey's Anatomy (Because I'm not eloquent enough to say something like that.)

Congratulations Sara!!!
Friday was spent with the usual crew plus Sara's family at her graduation. The day started out at the buttcrack of dawn. There are actually people on the freeway at 6 in the morning. O_O Crazy people. It was a nice ceremony. Weather was perfect. Free food (Chicken skewers and quiches and pasta). I'm sure Sara will have pictures up later. Then lunch at Thai Orchid. Mmm Mmm good! (Thank you Damon and Jason for lunch.)
Saturday was cleaning and..... THE ANGELS GAME. My very first live sporting event. I have never been a big fan of baseball. Actually, I thought it was quite a boring sport. A lot of waiting around. But it was not that bad, depending on who you go with. Received a free T-shirt so I wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb amongst the people in red.
Being at an actual game is much funner than watching it on TV. Believe me. While we were doing some waiting, there was entertainment amongst the fans. This tattoo-ed cholo guy was wearing the Seattle t-shirt (that's the team the Angels were playing against) and a couple of Angel fans started booing him. Oh, someone was going to get thumped and we were caught in the middle of it. Woot woot. But sadly, no fight. =)
Verry fun night. Smiles all around. =D
Oh, and Sunday was Mother's Day. Took Mom for Mexican food, per her request. Done.

Cynthia: Where do you get rainbows?
Me: Ummm...rainbows?
Cynthia: Yea...rainbows.
Me: Ummm...okaaaay. You get rainbows after it rains and the sun shines...I think it's where the light and water meet...yeaa...and you get a rainbow.
Cynthia: Uh...where is that? I've never heard of it before.
Me: The sun and the rain? It's in the sky?
Two very different conversations. She was talking about these and I was talking about these. And to top it off, it took us another 5 minutes to figure out what the other person was talking about. I love Cynthia. She cracks me up.
Smartasses we are.
