People have scars. In all sorts of unexpected places. Like secret roadmaps of their personal histories. Diagrams of all their old wounds. Most of our wounds heal, leaving nothing behind but a scar. But some of them don't. Some wounds we carry with us everywhere and though the cut's long gone, the pain still lingers. - Grey's Anatomy (Because I'm not eloquent enough to say something like that.)

Yay to PETA! I got an e-mail this morning...
Victory: J. Crew Promises "No More Fur!"
Thanks to each and every one of you who signed the petition, handed out leaflets, called the CEO to tell him how horrified you were that the company was selling fur, and otherwise helped the cause. After just 11 short weeks, this pressure has paid off. On November 30, J.Crew confirmed that it will no longer sell fur—no fur garments, no fur trim, no fur anything. Joining the ranks of top fashion retailers H&M, Forever 21, and others that have adopted fur-free policies, J.Crew is sending a powerful message to the clothing industry that subjecting rabbits, coyotes, foxes, and other animals to horrible lives and torturous deaths will not be tolerated. In light of this exciting agreement, please dispose of any J.Crew campaign materials that you have, and please stop contacting the company. Thanks again for all that you did to play an important part in this step forward in the fight against cruelty to animals! Please forward this good news to a friend.
Sincerely,
Ian Blessing

Helen just scared the "bageezus" out of me.
I got a call from her 15 minutes ago. She was watching Channel 7 News. A Greyhound bus was coming home from up north. The driver fell asleep and the bus tilted over, killing 2 people.
One of them was named Martha Alvarez. She was 23 years old. She was 7 months pregnant.
That was the exact profile of our co-worker, Martha Alvarez. She was 23 and 7 months pregnant with twins.
She asked me if the Monterey Park office was open this weekend, meaning, did she have to work on Saturday, so she couldn't have gone out of town? I said no. I started freakin' out, thinking it was our co-worker. I frantically searched online to see if she heard right.
Her name was actually Martha Calderez.

I have not updated for a while. (And btw, the post below is not written by me. Can you tell? =D)
Nothing much has been happening. Maybe that's the reason why I haven't been updating. It's just been school, work, JoJo. Damon called him my boyfriend. Haha. I don't mind. I will post some pictures up of him. He's so cute!
I love watching him run around at the park. It's like he is in the wild. =)
(DB and Alfie, no more eavesdropping! Hi JoJo.)
I have to pee, but my co-worker is in there. I guess that's about it. SoOooOoo...
HAPPY TURKEY DAY (tomorrow) !!!
=)

Midterms have been a pain in the (_Y_). Art History is a great class but damn the early 1500's, I can never remember it. And the names? Parmesan cheese? UCSR? I forgot what UCSR stands for all ready. Maybe University of Sara Rodriguez. ;) I'm so clever, I surprise myself. ;D
Math is useless. Honestly, truth tables? Am I ever going to use it? Like I'm going to whip out a sheet of paper and a pen to determine if indeed if I eat a banana, I will be rich. Hell, I'll eat a million bananas if that was true! Useless, useless, useless! I hate school. I quit. Right now.
Fashion Tip of the Day: Boys, squared-off dress shoes are so six years ago. Renew yourself with trimmed-down shoes that work well with pants or denim. In short, square = bad; pointed = good.

Loser (5:24:57 PM): you need to update your blog
starmienite (5:25:56 PM): yes sir
starmienite (5:26:00 PM): is it boring you? ;-)
Loser (5:26:09 PM): very much
Loser (5:26:14 PM): to the point where I'M blogging.
And then today...
Loser (10:38:03 AM): you seriously need to update your blog
Loser (10:38:10 AM): possibly with pics of your dog
I know my blog is boring, Loser. I will post up pictures from our Hearst Castle trip and pictures of Joey. =D
This weekend was pretty low key, but nonetheless, fun.
Friday....
Surprise for Sara day! I was in charge of distracting Sara from her house, while the guys brought the bike over to her house, but we decided later to do it at Jason's house. I took her to Target...and then got a call from Damon saying that they were ready. We went to Denny's for breakfast (mMMmmMm!). Jason tried sticking the box underneath her feet for her to discover, but the waitress ruined it. BOOOO. She found the box with the bike bell in it.
The Loser's lame joke..."I told you I'd give you a "ring" for your birthday." hahhahahahaha...what a loser. ;D Anyways, we went back to Jason's on the pretense that we were going to play Cranium amd surprised her with the bike. =D We're glad you liked it, Sar! We did end up playing Cranium. FUN game!
Sara and I....Annie. *high five* The guys won cause we let them get away with stuff. ;D
Saturday:
Took Joey for his shot and his bath. Yvonne brought Bobby (Joey's father) over, so they could play together. I don't think Bobby remembered Joey. Bobby scared him so much, there was a trail of peepee as Joey ran away from him. Poor thing. I'm taking Joey over to see his Mama this coming weekend. Wonder if she'll remember him. A couple of other co-workers came also and we had hot pot at my house. SO GOOD. Japanese beef. MMMmMmMmm. :P
After they left, DB came over to watch "Taking Lives" with me. I seriously did not fall asleep. I was just blinking for a long period of time. HEEEEEEEEE. Taking Lives was pretty good...I knew it was him, the killer!! Though when my parents came home, we did have to fast forward through my brother's fave part. Angelina Jolie's ( > )( > ). And that's the only reason why he came out of his room too.
Sunday:
Same ol, same ol. Church, lunch, Joey, cleaning, and homework. Sara, Damon, and Jason came over at night to play with Joey. I'm glad they did!! I was in desperate need of a break. I really need to take more pictures. Gotta find that camara.
